This was our very first Stormer German Kitchen for a couple in Stourbridge. They chose a true handless Stormer German Kitchen in high gloss silver metallic lacquer; with hi-macs worktops in Andromeda. To achieve their dream kitchen our clients needed us to take a wall down to give an open plan kitchen dining area.
Being keen cooks they chose NEFF appliances; which are built with chefs in mind with all of the features that they offer. They chose to have shelves and hanging rails; so that cooking utensils etc would all be close to hand. Whilst also giving a feeling of space. The storage was made up completely of drawers because they felt that this was a more practical way of utilising the space.
The sink was uniquely positioned within a bay window. To create a larger worktop area the window sills were lowered; and the hi-macs worktop carried over into the sills with coved upstands returning up to the windows.
Feature mood lighting was installed using LED strips positioned under the front edge of the worktop. This highlighted the handleless rail and light shelves positioned either side of the extractor. The lighting could be adjusted to give a warm or cool light using a remote control.
Karndean flooring was then run throughout the kitchen, dining room and utility.
