A stunning classic shaker kitchen in a unique cottage style property in Halesowen. Our client’s property had lots of period features; including beautiful church style arched lead windows; and low ceilings with joists showing.
The feature windows were at quite a low level; using Corian worktops meant that we could take the worktop into the window reveals creating a seamless finish; inviting you to look out through the windows.
A large range cooker was the centre piece of the kitchen. We designed a bespoke canopy with a beautiful solid oak beam, in keeping with the style of the property; with a Westin Cache extractor built in.
Our clients wanted an open feel to their kitchen, so we created a display wall. We designed a glass fronted dresser with bi-fold doors, and oak shelves to either side of the canopy.
Curved units helped the kitchen to flow; particularly in the tighter area around the large American style fridge-freezer.
A peninsula gave extra storage space and a seating area; it also helped to define the separate kitchen and dining area.
Karndean flooring completed the look.
