A stunning gloss handle less kitchen for a family in Cradley Heath. They had a small kitchen and dining room; which hardly got used and wanted to create a large kitchen dining area.
Taking out the wall gave us a large area to work with. But we needed to include the kitchen, utility and seating areas within this space.
The island unit was to be the main seating area; and needed to be able to seat a minimum of 4 people. For extra seating we also designed a window seat.
The island unit also housed the washing machine, sink, dishwasher and additional storage. As an added design feature the seating area along the back of the island unit had an ellipse curve.
They chose gloss handle less doors in cashmere with end panels and accents in brown/grey avola. And hi-macs worktop in Tambora with a hi-macs combina sink.
The back wall of units featured a built in NEFF fridge and freezer, NEFF slide and hide oven, combination microwave and warming drawer. Also incorporated into this run was a freestanding tumble drier which was hidden behind doors.
As they wanted to utilise as much space as possible; all the units were taken as close to the ceiling as possible. This was achieved using made to measure cabinetry and doors.
