A sleek, modern super matte kitchen in light grey and anthracite for a family in Barnt Green. This beautiful kitchen encapsulates everything that a modern kitchen should be.
Having found us on-line Louise got in touch. They wanted somebody who could arrange and project manage the major revamp of their kitchen; utility and dining area. The building work involved taking walls down; and making large openings to the rear of the house for bi-folding doors.
As part of this work we also had to do major electrical work and move a boiler. After that, the room was re-plastered, and the engineered wood floor fitted, we then set about the kitchen.
The back wall housed a NEFF slide and hide oven; combination microwave; warming drawer; a freestanding Fisher and Paykel fridge freezer; built-in dishwasher and integrated pull out bin. The fridge was framed by two larder units with pull out drawers; in a light grey super matte finish with a row of anthracite cupboards tying the two areas together. A grey mirrored splash back complemented the contemporary style.
The island unit in anthracite featured a NEFF panorama induction hob; surrounded by ample clear worktop space for food prep whilst cooking. In addition, pan and cutlery drawers were close to hand underneath. The island also provides a breakfast bar and wine cooler to the rear; creating a social area whilst being able to look out onto the garden.
To complete the look they chose corian worktops with a coved up-stand in designer white; with an 1810 Axix sink with corian sides.
