Kitchen Design Belbroughton

Mandy got in touch with us after a recommendation from a friend. They had a very particular style in mind that would suit the characterful cottage that they live in. They were looking for a very traditional kitchen; that really moves away from many current designs that are available. This meant that they were finding it difficult to find a company that could offer them what they wanted.
Due to the style and colours that they already had and loved in their cottage; they wanted a solid oak in-frame kitchen in a dark tone, with an aged appearance. Not wanting it to look old fashioned; they also wanted to incorporate modern technology without spoiling the cottage feel.
Once we had a good idea of what they wanted to achieve; we had some sample doors produced by one of our suppliers who can produce custom made doors to specific requirements. The sample doors were just what they wanted so we then designed the kitchen around their other requirements.
Their wish list included an American style fridge freezer; a range cooker; a steam oven; a vacuum drawer to use the sous-vide cooking facility; a warming drawer; Belfast sink and island unit with split level working area and seating.
To complement the design they chose a Granite worktop in steel grey; with a caress surface finish that gives it a textured feel. This textured feel added to the distressed nature of the kitchen.
